Announcing our new Partnership with Mowden Park RFC

MIRA x Mowden Partnership

We are delighted to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Darlington Mowden Park RFC.

Darlington Mowden Park RFC are a community rugby club based at the Darlington Arena. The club runs a total of 26 teams, from under 6s through to the Men’s 1st XV competing in National League One. In this exciting new agreement, we will provide Mowden Park a wealth of marketing and advertising support throughout the 2023/24 season.

Founded in 1950, the club are approaching their 75th anniversary having moved to the Arena in 2012. One of the largest community clubs in the North East, DMP continue to expand with the recent addition of a ladies touch rugby side to sit alongside the elite women’s side who compete in the Allianz Premier 15s.

The club also operate a community foundation which delivers sessions to local schools and clubs. Formed in 2014, the DMP Community programme has delivered programmes and initiatives to over 75,000 children, young people and adults in 75+ schools, colleges and community groups across the North East.

The new partnership will include the launch of “Mowden Monthly” – digital newsletter aimed at giving Mowden Park club supporters an exclusive behind the scenes look at what’s on at the Arena. As part of our sponsorship, we will benefit from a range of advertising opportunities at Mowden Park’s 25,000 seat Darlington Arena.

Speaking ahead of the launch of the new partnership, our CEO Stuart Bramley said: “We are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey of brand expansion.
